In a recent IGN article, EA Chief Studios officer Laura Miele confirmed that moving forward, all of EA's studios will have the freedom to TRULY do what they want with their games. Only time will tell if this is legit or not.
Although it may seem strange to say that Cancelling Anthems redesign is a GOOD thing, it begins to seem true. This is going to give developers like Bioware and Respawn to create games like Mass effect and Titanfall without having to worry about over-pleasing their Publisher.
With titles that hold high pedigrees, its safe to say that EA will not have a lot to worry about in terms of revenue, as long as the games live up to the potential that they are capable of. Which as of late, has arguably been hindered by none other than... You guessed it.. EA.
